Taped to the door of my 8-year old daughter’s room (which she calls the “M.A.R. Room”; “M”, “A”, and “R” being the first 3 letters of her name and those of her 2 “best friends”) is this piece of paper with a list of rules everyone seeking to enter the room must follow. My favorites are rules nos. 1, 5, 6, and 8 (How cute is “Always think important”?).
